Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG)

The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) provides additional personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, training, technical assistance, and information systems for criminal justice or civil proceedings to states to support a range of program areas. The JAG program and the OJP are committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and equity, increase access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety, protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community.
